Xiaomi’s First Clamshell Foldable Phone Makes a Global Debut

Xiaomi has officially launched its clamshell-style foldable phone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, in global markets. Following its earlier debut in China, this foldable smartphone stands out with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Xiaomi has collaborated with Leica to equip the device with two 50-megapixel cameras on the outer screen, offering top-tier photography features. It boasts a 4.01-inch cover display and a 6.86-inch inner screen, both of which support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content for an immersive viewing experience. The phone is powered by a 4,780mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

Price and Availability of Xiaomi Mix Flip

The Xiaomi Mix Flip is priced at EUR 1,300 (around Rs. 1,21,500) for the 12GB+512GB configuration in global markets. In China, the price is set at CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 77,600), making the global variant notably more expensive. It will be available in Black and Purple color options, while the White version remains exclusive to China. The company has yet to announce a release date for the Indian market.
