The highly anticipated Xiaomi 14T series is set to launch on September 26 in Berlin, bringing several AI-powered features to the table, according to recent reports. As the successor to the Xiaomi 13T series, which debuted in November 2023, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will reportedly come equipped with Google’s Circle to Search tool, a feature first introduced with the Galaxy S24 series. This feature allows users to highlight specific areas on the screen, which are then processed for a visual lookup using Google’s AI technology.

In addition to Circle to Search, the Xiaomi 14T series is expected to include four other AI-backed features: AI Notes, AI Interpreter, AI Subtitles, and AI Voice Recorder. These functions will harness the power of Google’s Gemini large language model (LLM). AI Notes will provide users with AI-driven summaries and translations within the Notes app. AI Interpreter is rumored to enable real-time translations for conversations, phone calls, or meetings, enhancing communication. AI Subtitles and AI Voice Recorder are expected to improve accessibility, making the devices more user-friendly for a wide range of users.

The Xiaomi 14T will likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, supported by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. The device is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W HyperCharge support, allowing it to fully charge in just 45 minutes. With these hardware and AI advancements, the Xiaomi 14T series aims to set new standards for mid-range smartphones.
