Successor to the Vivo X100 Series

The Vivo X200 series, including the Vivo X200 Pro, is set to launch as the successor to the popular Vivo X100 lineup. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro debuted in India in January this year, following their initial unveiling in China in November 2023 and a global introduction in December. Although Vivo has yet to confirm the launch timeline for the Vivo X200 series, leaks and rumors have been generating significant buzz.

Leaked Design of Vivo X200

A dummy unit of the Vivo X200 was recently shared in a Weibo post by tipster Experience More (translated from Chinese). The design reveals a centrally placed circular rear camera module surrounded by a silver ring. The Vivo X200 also features a slightly curved display with very slim uniform bezels and a centered hole-punch slot for the front camera. The bottom edge shows a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, a mic, and a SIM tray slot. Earlier leaks suggest that the Vivo X200 could sport a 50-megapixel customized Sony main camera, a 3x mid-range telephoto lens, and a 1.5K display.

Vivo X200 Pro Battery Specifications

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), the Vivo X200 Pro may come equipped with a battery capacity larger than 6,000mAh. To address potential concerns about the phone’s weight and thickness due to this large battery, Vivo might use fiberglass material for the body, similar to the material used in the Vivo X Fold 3 series handsets. This approach aims to maintain a balance between battery life and device ergonomics.

Additional Features of Vivo X200 Pro

Further leaks from Digital Chat Station indicate that the Vivo X200 Pro may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The device is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a triple rear camera setup, including a periscope lens. Additionally, the Vivo X200 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.7 or 6.8-inch slightly curved 1.5K display, promising an enhanced viewing experience for users.

As the anticipated launch of the Vivo X200 series approaches, enthusiasts and potential buyers are eager to see how these leaked features will translate into the final product.
