Tecno is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated foldable smartphones, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2. While the company has yet to confirm an official launch date, recent leaks have given fans a closer look at the devices. Live images of both foldables have surfaced online, revealing key design elements and some exciting specifications. The leaks suggest that Tecno is preparing to make a strong entry into the foldable smartphone market, with sales in Ghana tipped to start on September 8.
Design and Specifications Unveiled
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, identified by model number AE10, showcases a book-style foldable design. The rear of the device features a rectangular camera module housing three sensors, with the primary camera boasting a 50-megapixel sensor. Both the cover and inner screens of the Phantom V Fold 2 display noticeable bezels and centrally positioned hole-punch cutouts for the selfie cameras. On the other hand, the Phantom V Flip 2 sports a larger cover display compared to its predecessor, along with symmetrical bezels and vertically arranged dual rear cameras. It is expected to come with dual-SIM support and 256GB of internal storage.

Under the hood, Tecno‘s Phantom V Fold 2 is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, while the Phantom V Flip 2 could ship with the Dimensity 8050 SoC. According to previous reports, the Phantom V Fold 2 will likely be priced at GHS 16,550 (approximately Rs. 89,300), and the Phantom V Flip 2 at GHS 9,800 (roughly Rs. 52,900). In India, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is expected to fall within the Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 80,000 price range.
