Anticipated Launch in India

The much-anticipated Redmi Note 14 has recently surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, signaling a potential launch in India. This smartphone, expected to succeed the popular Redmi Note 13, was listed alongside another model believed to be the Poco X7 Neo. The listing comes shortly after the Redmi Note 14 appeared on China’s 3C certification website, adding to the buzz surrounding its imminent release.

BIS Listing Reveals New Models

The BIS listing includes a Redmi handset with the model number 24094RAD4I, which is speculated to be a variant of the Redmi Note 14. While the entry does not explicitly confirm the name, the model number aligns with the one approved by China’s 3C regulator, where it was listed as the 24094RAD4C. The same BIS entry also mentions a Poco handset with the model number 2409FPCC4I, which is expected to debut as the Poco X7 Neo. However, details about the specifications of these smartphones remain under wraps.

Similarities with Previous Models

Drawing comparisons with their predecessors, the Redmi Note 13 and Poco X6 Neo, both of which launched with Android 13 and MIUI 14, the Redmi Note 14 and Poco X7 Neo are likely to feature similar specifications. These could include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6800 chipset, and up to 12GB of RAM. Additionally, they may come equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. The inclusion of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance are also anticipated.
