Meta Enhances Ray-Ban Meta Glasses with Real-Time Video Capabilities

Meta Platforms has introduced major updates to its Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) features that bring real-time video querying to the forefront. Unveiled at Meta’s Connect event, these smart glasses can now provide information about landmarks and locations as users explore in real-time. With this new video capability, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses act as a virtual guide, answering questions about places and offering cooking suggestions based on ingredients during shopping trips.

Special Edition Glasses and Expanded Partnerships

Along with software advancements, Meta revealed a new special edition of the Meta Glasses called Shiny Transparent. These glasses feature a transparent design and are equipped with UltraTransitions GEN S lenses. The lenses offer Clear to Sapphire transition options, delivering both style and advanced functionality. In addition to the AI upgrades, Meta has expanded its partnerships with Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, and iHeart, allowing users to search and interact with music and podcasts via voice commands on the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses
