OnePlus Ace 5 Series Launch Soon

The OnePlus Ace 5 series is generating excitement ahead of its anticipated launch, with recent leaks revealing key details about the upcoming smartphones. Expected to succeed the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and Ace 3 models, the series is rumored to feature the OnePlus Ace 5 and the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. These devices are expected to be equipped with cutting-edge technology, including flagship Snapdragon chipsets and 1.5K LTPO displays, making them strong contenders in the mid-range market.

Key Features and Specifications

According to a report from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Ace 5 series will likely boast customized BOE X2 8T LTPO flat displays with a 1.5K resolution. The design is expected to include ultra-slim bezels on all four sides, offering a sleek, modern look. The base OnePlus Ace 5 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro variant is rumored to feature the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both models are tipped to have 6,000mAh high-density batteries, ensuring extended usage. The camera setup may include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, though neither model is expected to feature a periscope lens. Security will likely be enhanced with ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensors.

Design and Build Details

The OnePlus Ace 5 lineup is also rumored to feature right-angled metal middle frames, adding to the durability and aesthetic appeal of the devices. The Pro variant may take it a step further with a glass-ceramic body and chamfered edges, as per earlier leaks. These design elements, combined with the advanced internal hardware, suggest that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be a strong addition to the market when it launches, possibly in China around November 2024.
