JBL has officially launched the JBL Tour Pro 3, the successor to the JBL Tour Pro 2, in select markets. These new truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones feature a significant upgrade in the form of a larger touchscreen smart charging case, which not only charges the earbuds but also acts as a transmitter for audio from entertainment systems. The JBL Tour Pro 3 also boasts a hybrid dual driver system, enhanced noise cancellation, and support for high-resolution audio codecs like LDAC.
Pricing and Availability
The JBL Tour Pro 3 is priced at $299.99 (approximately Rs. 25,100) in the US and EUR 299.99 in Europe. However, like its predecessor, these earbuds are only available in select markets and are not expected to be launched in India. According to JBL, the earphones will be available for purchase starting mid-September through the official JBL website. The earbuds come in two color options—Black and Latte.
Specifications and Features JBL Tour Pro 3
]The JBL Tour Pro 3 earphones are designed with a half-in-ear style and incorporate a hybrid dual-driver system featuring 11mm dynamic drivers paired with a 2.8mm balanced armature. These earbuds come equipped with six microphones and a hydrodynamic windproof design to enhance voice clarity, supported by JBL’s Crystal AI call algorithm. For a personalized listening experience, JBL includes the Personi-fi 3.0 hearing test, which customizes sound profiles based on individual preferences.
One of the standout features is the smart charging case, which now includes a 1.57-inch display—larger than that of its predecessor. This display can show more information, such as the name of the song currently playing. Moreover, the case doubles as a transmitter, allowing users to connect to entertainment systems via AUX or USB Type-C and transmit audio directly to the earbuds. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and Auracast wireless audio sharing, while battery life is supported by 65mAh batteries in the earbuds and an 850mAh battery in the charging case.
