JBL Tour Pro 3 with Enhanced Touchscreen Smart Case Launches in Select Markets

On Wednesday, JBL announced the launch of its latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, the JBL Tour Pro 3, in select markets. As the successor to the JBL Tour Pro 2, these earphones feature significant upgrades, including a larger touchscreen on the smart charging case. The new charging case boasts several advanced features, and the earbuds come equipped with a hybrid dual driver system, offering enhanced audio quality. The JBL Tour Pro 3 supports LDAC audio codec, delivering high-resolution sound for music enthusiasts. Additionally, JBL has integrated innovative features like JBL Spatial 360 with head tracking and adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) to elevate the listening experience.

JBL Tour Pro 3 Pricing Details

The JBL Tour Pro 3 is priced at $299.99 (approximately Rs. 25,100) in the US and EUR 299.99 in Europe. However, similar to its predecessor, the JBL Tour Pro 3 is available only in select markets and is not expected to launch in India. The earphones will be available for purchase from mid-September via the official JBL website. Consumers can choose between two color options: Black and Latte.

JBL Tour Pro 3 Specifications and Features

The JBL Tour Pro 3 offers a half-in-ear design and incorporates a hybrid dual-driver system, which includes 11mm dynamic drivers paired with 2.8mm balanced armature. These earphones are equipped with six microphones that feature a hydrodynamic windproof design, ensuring clear voice calls. JBL has also introduced the Crystal AI call algorithm to enhance voice clarity. For personalized audio experiences, the Personi-fi 3.0 hearing test builds a customized sound profile.

True ANC 2.0 technology in the JBL Tour Pro 3 adapts to environmental sounds in real-time, measuring them over 50,000 times per second. The smart charging case is equipped with a 1.57-inch display, providing more information such as song details during playback. The case also acts as a transmitter, connecting to entertainment systems via AUX or USB Type-C, and transmitting audio to the earbuds with lower latency than Bluetooth. With Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast wireless audio sharing, and support for LDAC audio codec, the JBL Tour Pro 3 promises a seamless and high-quality audio experience for Android users.
