The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to make its debut soon alongside the Redmi 14 and Redmi 14 Pro+. Over the past few weeks, rumors have hinted at various details surrounding this much-anticipated device. One of the most significant leaks suggests that the Redmi Note 14 Pro may be powered by Qualcomm’s recently launched Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. This chipset is expected to provide a 20% improvement in CPU performance and a 40% boost in GPU capabilities over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

According to a report by XiaomiTime, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will likely come with the powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which also boasts AI capabilities thanks to its dedicated AI Engine. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to feature a triple camera setup, with slight variations between the global and China-specific models. The global version is speculated to include a telephoto camera, while the China-only variant may sport a macro lens. The device, codenamed “Amethyst” with model number O16U, is anticipated to be headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

All variants of the Redmi Note 14 series are expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, marking a significant upgrade over the Redmi Note 13’s 1080p screen. Reports suggest that the series may launch in September, as the devices have been spotted on the IMEI database. Additionally, leaked renders indicate that the Redmi Note 14 Pro may come with a redesigned camera module resembling the Xiaomi 14’s unit, and could feature curved edges, departing from the flat-edged design of its predecessor. The phone was also recently listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, further hinting at an imminent launch in India.
