Apple has officially announced its much-anticipated event date, set for September 9, 2024. The tech giant is expected to reveal its latest hardware lineup, headlined by the iPhone 16 Series. Alongside the new iPhones, Apple is also rumored to unveil new Apple Watch models, potentially including a new Ultra variant, and updated AirPods. This year’s event carries the tagline “It’s Glowtime,” which has sparked speculation that it could hint at new advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) integration, specifically through the new iPhone 16 series.

The iPhone 16 Series: What to Expect

The iPhone 16 series is expected to introduce significant changes, most notably the inclusion of AI features right out of the box. According to rumors, the lineup will consist of four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. A major design change is also anticipated, with the Action button making its debut across all models, replacing the iconic alert slider on the non-Pro variants. This feature was previously exclusive to the Pro models introduced last year. Apple enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting these updates, as they promise to set new standards in the smartphone industry.

Live Streaming and Other Announcements

The September 9 event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater and will be live-streamed on YouTube at 10:30 PM IST. In addition to the iPhone 16 Series, Apple is expected to announce new Apple Watch models, updated AirPods, and availability dates for iOS 18 and other software updates. The event’s earlier-than-expected date has caught many by surprise, as reports initially suggested a September 10 unveiling. Nevertheless, the upcoming announcements are poised to make waves across the tech world, particularly with the introduction of Apple Intelligence, the company’s new AI-driven innovation.
